I have started to install of the TPiS Air intake, but not finished yet, here are some of the steps:
I removed the front shroud, since I sold my BP rammer I needed a new shroud. After the shroud was removed I cut it out for the TPiS piece. I left the 2 tangs there for my AUX Fan mount.
Next, I stalled the Bottom plate of the TPiS Housing. I used 4 screws to hold it in place, One on each side and 2 in front.
Next I checked to see if the filter would clear the tangs left for the Fan. it does, Some filter area seems a little blocked, but should be fine.
Finally, since I have switched to the Speed Density ECM and I am not using the MAF anymore, I made a custom connection for the Air box to the TB.
There is a short piece of PVC Tubing glued to the Airbox (which I need to paint Black) and I am using a 90-92 TPI Camaro Bellows..
That is as far as I have gotten. I have already check hood clearance and everything should fit fine. I just hope it warms up a bit here to get it back on the car.
