Starter Installation

A 94 LT-1 Coupe the steps for installing a new starter and which side it is on and whether it has to be shimmed at installation.

Actually my son and I did mine on my 94 Coupe LT1 6-spd and it really was a piece of cake, just remove 2 bolts and the electrical connections no shimming involved and that's pretty much it, just make sure you disconnet the battery first......

As caddy said, it should be pretty simple. An LT-1 has no oil cooler lines to contend with, which is the only thing that makes the L98 starters a little harder to change.
