I am trying to locate the lower bearing on the steering shaft.

Corvette Central...with who i am dealing with says that the 1966 bearing is diccontinued...so i bought the 67E bearing to see if it fits...it doesnt because the shaft that the bearing rides on is too little...

where might i find the correct supplier for this bearing??

thanks

Jack

Jack,
Doc Rebuild. 63-66 Lower Race P/N 6521107 and lower bearing P/N 6521106. He has the washer that goes between the spring and the bearing too.

Order Only - No info - (800) 866-9362

I just replaced my steering mast tube and lower bearing about two weeks ago. Long Island Corvette Supply was back ordered when I tried them about three weeks ago (but might have it in now) and Zip didn't carry it anymore according to the sales guy.

I ordered the bearing thorugh Doc Rebuild, if you want info call 203-366-1332, also have a web site www.docrebuild.com

Thanks

Doc Rebuild was the site

thanks alot for the info
