Question for all you mid year guys....Friend has a midyear, and the steering wheel is a bit loose..it might be the steering column..theirs just a little "play" in it.....What can i check or do on my end to 'tighten" up this up?

Thanks,

Andy

I saw it for the first time this weekend. The car is in park and you can turn the wheel about 3" or so in either direction. Hope that helps..

Get it it was a joke Loose nut behind the wheel
I have been waiting years to use this joke

All kidding aside I did a search but came up with nothing. A while back a fellow had posted about a trip he took with his car and his rag joint had torn and I think he had to get towed in Any one remember this one?

There's an article in the knowledgebase that describes the adjustment procedure for the steering box; check-it out.:pat
