Would you mind explaining how you plumbed your Steeroids, Hydroboost and power steering pump and reservoir. I'm using one of the newer style aluminum power steeroing pumps with a remote reservoir. I currently don't have a power steering fluid cooler but may add one later if needed.

just curious how to plumb it all together properly.

I have not done a steeroids, or the hydroboost, but I do have a boost unit on my 3500 series truck that operates the powersteering and brakes.

Would you like me to take any photos of that, or the routing of the lines?

I was really interested in knowing if the sequence of how it's routed makes a difference i.e. run the pressure line to the Steeroids and then the Hydroboost, or vice versa?

Good question.

On my truck (3500 requires major power steering assistance), there are four hydraulic lines from the booster. I will have to look at them and try to figure out how they are all routed. Granted, it is not a rack system, but it would still have pressure and return lines from the pump, etc. It seems to me though that it goes from the pump to the booster, then the gear box. I will check and see.

I have had good results by running the pressure line first to the Hydroboost, then to the power steering valve (-6 lines). The other way seemed to restrict the performance of the brake boost somewhat.

My setup is a late model pump/remote reservoir and standard C3 power steering linkage.
