Even though my husband has a ton of tools he did buy something like this set 2 years ago:

He also has a few of those wrench sets in a pouch by cummings - metric too.
I think he gets those at one of those traveling tool shows that come around once or twice a year.
And of course the most indispensable tool of all for any corvette owner:
My car only had 3 owners before me and I have to say some real hacks worked on the car. My husband just took out the fuel filter and not one of the screws was the same out of the 6 or 8 that were in there. That is one example out of about 20.
