Stock Intake runner size?

I am wondering if the Edelbrock 2701 would really be much of an improvement over the stock intake.

I dont know the runner size but I've heard that the edle performer is the same intake for the 81

That is what I am thinking as well. We are not able to use any kind of high rise intake due to hood clearance issues, so probably no reason to replace the stock intake with anything else...this is a question???

I'm using a Holley lt1 clone with a drop base air cleaner under the stock hood.
