I recently purchased a 2004 Z06 and have already begun to think about winter storage for next year. The car will be stored in my garage from Nov-April.My question is this:Do I dare disconnect the battery for fear of losing all settings or should I use a battery tender/trickle charger or should I do nothing and just recharge the battery when I take it out of storage in April.Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Definitely charge the battery!
I own a ski boat, and I can only use it half the year. When I store it, I usually take out the battery, and put it on the trickle charger 1-2 times a month, to keep it charged. You don't want lead-acid battery to get low, it'll will eventually kill the battery.

Anyway, at the minimum, you'll probably want to sit it in and start her up every so often anyway...How can you stay away from a car like that?
