Does anyone know if C4's have less problems with stress cracks in the fiberglass than C3's? If so would it be after a certain year? Thanks

I've owned several C4s and have never seen stress cracks in the fiberglass. Then again, unlike the earlier Corvettes, the body parts on the c4 aren't glued to each other.

Michel,
Are you asking because your car is showing those little hair line fissures in the paint? If so, it's gotta be friction.

Make sure the parts aren't hitting-something, i.e., other body parts or the hood will get pooked (I know it's not a word in some parts of the world!) upwards if when closing the hood it's hitting the radiator cover (right at the left corner of where your emissions control info label should be).

You can shave that corner off if that's the case.

Hope this helps.
