I need to replace these bushings. I could go with the stock replacement but I noticed Ecklers do these split poly bushings - much easier to fit apparently.

What are the opinions on these, worth the effort and expense or should I stay with the stock items?

I went with poly rear strut rod bushings 5 months ago ... I like em ... so far no squeeks. Suggest you replace outboard rear spring cushion rubbers (poly available) and inner strut camber bolts at same. Camber bolt kit available in "MOOG" brand at local parts house ... complete strut rods w/rubber available in MOOG also. Look up the poly bushings & cushions part numbers in "Energy Suspension" brand ... you can order them through a local parts house such as Autozone (probably less$ than eckler) ... if you know the P/N.

One of the Fla. parts dealers, VBP I think, has a nice kit to replace the strut rods and the means of adjustment. Poly bushings on both ends and does away with the eccentric bolt for adjustment. About $100 a couple of years ago. The alignment shop loves me since I put these on and freed up the trailing arms.

Van Steel (in FL also) currently has a deal on their adjustable poly strut rods ... I think thru August 31 (act quick!) ... I think they're $100/pr INCLUDING shipping.
