My sub box has two 10" subs and I made it small enough so the targa top will still lock into place above the sub box. It is in an 84 vette and it sounds really good.

I put 8" subs in the back when I dumped my working Bose for full aftermarket, including new, good wires to feed them from the mbQuart 4x100 amp under the pax seat.anybody make their own sub boxes for their cars i would like to see some pics

i would appreciate a pic i only have two 6x9s in the rear i took the door speakers out and have sixes in the front that are terrible and turned off and look hiteous i also have a six inch sub ported box i pulled from the home theatre system not bad sounding suprisingly lolI put 8" subs in the back when I dumped my working Bose for full aftermarket, including new, good wires to feed them from the mbQuart 4x100 amp under the pax seat.
Not wanting to give up the majority of the rear area, they replace the rear speakers and are only subwoofers. They kick butt, being a bass aficionado, but the Infinity I chose were a bit deep for those openings, so boxes were required that preclude use of the rear privacy curtain; the boxes rising about 2" above the carpet.
The car is in color sand and I will try to get a pic if ya wish.
The system rocks and can be heard above the Flowmasters at will.![]()
Ask, my son, and you shall receive.i would appreciate a pic

since your cars in paint i suggest dyeing that red carpet:ughAsk, my son, and you shall receive.
Not a work of art, but some spare wood lying around now has new meaning on the planet.

The car's small dimensions means LOUD low freqs to even approach some decent SQ (sound quality); not always the case in a home audio system. (Did I say I LOVE bass?)
I chose Infinity all around, having their Modulus subs for many years. The amp delivers well on its conservative numbers which is required to hear over the roar of the 409's crazy cam and mufflers(?).
Thanks, I actually have some red dye and had done that with middling result on some floor mats. Ya don't like the 'patina'?since your cars in paint i suggest dyeing that red carpet:ugh
