I am going to wire in a three-wire heated O2 sensor.

But it's early... and I don't have my schematic in front of me. :)

I'd rather not go to the fuse box since this is under the car.

Thoughts?

Thanks! I had not thought about using that feed before – that's an idea.

With Hooker's full length headers, dual exhaust from Corvette Central, and magna flow mufflers it's become too cool for the original equipment oxygen sensor.

That was causing some errors in the fuel map and the integrator was throwing fuel like crazy at the fuel table while the narrow band oxygen sensor was reporting less than commanded AFR's.

Basically, the cold oxygen sensor was creating an overly rich situation.

I broke out my schematic.

The emissions systems are all pink & hot only in the run position. I think I will tap into one of those. :thumb

I took mine from the distributor feed. Just remember to put a fuse on it.

Isn't that a circuit with a nichrome resistor wire in it? I might have my years mixed up.

Another ignition power source could be the wiper motor.
