Has anyone seen this? I noticed the vanity mirror cover on my sunvisor was very hot. It seems the lights had stayed on for some reason. I pressed the little "refrigerator door" light switch, and noticed it hardly took any movement to shut off the light, so the switch is sensitive enough.

However, if I closed the cover, even the slightest opening would show the vanity lights on. It seemed the cover had warped to the point of not being properly placed to push the switch to turn the light off.

The solution was to put one of those little 1/8 inch silicone rubber stick-on "feet" at the location the switch is. Now, I can see the light go off when I close the cover. The other visor had the same problem. Can you imagine C5 owners chasing down dying battery problems only to find that the visor mirror lights were not turning off!

I had the same problem on mine. I "warped" it back and haven't had any issues. But I did wonder about the battery. I had a car about 10 years ago that didn't shut off the trunk light when you closed the trunk. Killed the battery over night. Had to dang near tear the whole car apart to find that little bugger.
