...with pending snow in the forecast, I got all I had to do out of the way today - with the new tag decals affixed to the SuperNatural Callaway, I set out to let her stretch her legs :cool
Warming the car up was routine, after firing her to life - I made my way around the "loop" and got nothing but wide eyed stares, the car got the looks I am sure :cool
As I neared the main road, I went around a bend. Accelerating from 2nd, I slid the shifter to the next gear and felt a slight "slip" :eek Since I still had the Traction Control on, I hit the ASR button to disable and went a bit more down the road...
Three blocks from the end of my loop, I decided to make a right instead of a left - with a quick "u'ey" and 4 gears later, I confirmed the car has no slippage - unless the rear tires count
This car flat out hauled - from first to second, I do not think it dropped below 4500 rpm's and from second to third, about the same, maybe 4800 rpms :eek
Taking it right into 4th @ WOT, I let off and coasted the rest of the way
Looks like anywhere up to 10" of snow starting tonight - Folks up in the NorthEast, brace yourselves! :eek
