I have a 96 coupe and need to order shocks. There are 2 options for bilstein shocks, with Z51 suspension and w.o. Z51 suspension. How can I tell if I have the Z51 suspension.

Thanks,

Jim

Look under the center console at the build sheet for Z51.

On my 96, the RPO code list was under the rear compartment lid. Look there if it ain't on the console lid.

If your 96 was Z51, it would have stickers on the springs and the anti-roll bars that say Z51 and you would have 9.5" wheels all around and 275/40ZR17 on each (assuming the original or OEM replacement tires are there.

Can't find a built sheet in either place. I have P255/45ZR-17 tires on the front and P285/4-ZR-17 tires on the rear so I'm guessing I don't have the Z51.

Thanks for the help.
