TA DAAA...BCM??

BODY COMPUTER BCM OR CCM..?
THIS GIZMO IS WHAT MY MECHENIC IS TELLING ME IS THE PROBLEM WITH MY LIGHTS COMMING ON AND NOT GOING OFF AND ALSO DRAINING THE BATTERY..
ANYBODY GOT ONE???

THEY SEEM TO BE HARD TO FIND FOR A 92 LT1..

I wouldn't buy anything just yet...

Have your mechanic show you on his multimeter that the circuit for the CCM is carryin' current in excess of what it is supposed to, when key is off, key is on, etc. He should have that info on ALLData, or Mitchell's online, or FSM.

Mechanics LOVE to say, "It's the ECM", or "It's the CCM", when they don't feel like doing REAL troubleshooting with a schematic and a multimeter.

Accompanying words are something like, "Well, it is xx years old; that's what I think it is, and I can replace that and it should do it."

"Should I pay you if it's NOT?"
