Tach

I installed a new HEI distrubutor cap put everything back together in the right spot I think and now my tach doesnt work. Anyone have this problem before and how do I troubleshoot this.If I did plug the tach wire into the bat. post on the distrubutor cap would that take out the board on the tach ? Thanks

Check the wires going to the tach filter...you may have broken one. This would cause your trach to not work.
