Tachometer needle

I got the old tach needle off but the new one wont stay on>Does anyone know the way you put it on the tach? Thank's alot!

I've repalced my tach needle, it pressed on by hand, is it the right tach needle?

Something else must be broke inside because the needle slip's easily.I am sure it is yhe right one.Thank's alot that help's knowing how they are suppose to work!

I have a broken Speedo needle and wasn't aware that you can change them. Where did you get a new needle?

Most of the Corvette parts suppliers have needles (speedo and tach are the same), the PITA is you have to remove dash to change them. They pull off and push on. I think I bought mine from Rik's

Thanks for the info, it would have been to easy to have the guage cover pop off.
