Tail Light Question

Hows it going, just bought a 99 c5, its still a nice lookin car but to me the main thing that sets it apart from the c6 (visually) is the lighting. I was wondering if anyone could give me the dimensions of the c6 tail lights(and any other info for a conversion), from my eyeball passing by on the road they look like they might be the same size but if anyone could help me out i would love to convert.Maybe if someone owns both? I believe they are of a slightly different shape, even if the size were similar. I like them too and would love to have a set on my '87. They look so cool - like afterburners. :cool

The c5 lights are oval, whereas the c6 taillights are round.

Hi,
The C6 taillights are almost round, but still a little oval. I know this because I make the blackout kits for the C5 and we just started on the kit for my new C6 last week. Another difference is the C6 screws in up top with one torx screw, the C5 has two that go through the lense.

Won't fit, but if you're good with body work I'm sure you could make them fit with new openings!
