Replaced all my gauges with new mechanical ones and now my tail lights and inside lights will not turn off cant find any loose grounds please let me know if any one else has had this problem

1st welcome to CAC!!!
2nd you're just going to have to go back and check EVERYTHING again.
they are getting power from somewhere!!!
be sure to check out the L-81 registry and register your'81 if you haven't done so already...

Check the brake light switch under the dash. If you replaced everything, you may have bumped the switch or something. if the switch isn't set right, it will not engage and turn off.

If the brown wire (tail) and a gray (instrument lights) got together somewhere that could keep the lights on too.
