I finally got around to doing the taillight modification that i have been planning. My taillights were in bad shape and needed replacement but i wanted to get rid of the reverse lights and have all four brakelights come on.(like a 68)So i bought four(overpriced)outer taillight lenses, two outer wiring harnesses, and four housing repair studs. The taillights look and work great BUT now my turn signals blink very fast.Do i need a different flasher to compensate for the added lights? Thanks

The early flashers were load based- a specific load (current draw) heats the element in the flasher and makes it open, lights go off, cools down, closes, lights on. What you need to do is get an electronic flasher. Those are more time based. Don't forget the hazard flasher too.
