TB Bypass without a kit

Don't waste ANY money cooling down the throttle body. As suggested by another member simply use the existing hose off the T at the radiator directly to the pipe under the passenger fuel rail that connected through the TB. Eleganlty simple with 2 fewer connections. This applies to '92-96.

I did cap off the ends of the tubes on the TB for looks. A 100 degree temp reduction in the plenum and surrounding area has to be good for all the junk up there under the covers.

Yep. The only thing you need to (should) buy are the 3/8" I/D rubber caps at the auto store to cap off the inlet and outlet tubes on the throttle body. Mainly for asthetics.

if you look on the passangers side of the TB you'll see a 3/8" hose running into it. bottom of the TB is where it comes out. simply disconnect them from the TB and use a 3/8" hose connection with some small hose clamps and fit them together. this is one of the cheapest and best mods you can do to your car!

I used a 1" length of 1/2" copper pipe with two hose clamps to join the two hoses.

Yup, that's what I did as well. Took the existing hose that comes from the tee off the Rad and connected it directly to the metal tube along underneath the fuel rail.

Can't believe some people actually pay good money for an aftermarket "Throttle-Body-Bypass-kit".
