I ran a water line from the radiator outlet, bypassing the TB, straight to the inlet fitting. With a couple of tie-wraps it makes a couple of nice turns and looks fine. It’s a 25 inch, 3/8’s waterline. 2 clamps, and I got a set of vacuum caps for $3.50 to slip over the now unused fittings in the TB.
Total was about $7.00.
I did this while I was removing the top of the shroud to hose out some of the gunk between the A/C condenser and raidatior. I took a few pictures of how-to, and what I found if anybody’s interested. I can e-mail’em to you.

aloha,
i just did mine also,i had the throttle body off as i was porting and polishing it(2000 grit)my cost was 0.i had a piece of 3/8 inch tubing sitting around, and reused the clamps.the one thing i did different,i cut the nipples off right at the t-body.nice and clean.i only really did this to make it easier to take the t-body off,i can get it off in less than 5 minutes and the intake manifold in about 40 min.i think this is the easiest motor i ever worked on.now im getting into tuning.later,Todd.
