What temp sender should I use in my DART heads. The original sender's threaded diameter is bigger than the hole bored in the head. I can put the sender in the runner in my intake but then I have to run the line up over the valve cover and that just looks like crud. Is the a smaller sender that I canuse for the original location inthe new heads?

Had the same problem when I went to vortec heads. Local parts store that still uses the books to look stuf up checked and cross referenced the resistance values and came up with a sender with the 3/8 threads that was real close for me. It wasn't perfect but close enough at the time. Since changed all guages to nordskog digital and new senders for them. by the way the new temp sender was 3/8.

I went to vortec heads also. I drilled the hole to the size of the original sender and then threaded it. It is a no cost fix. Worked well.
