Can i put the sensor for my electric fan in the top of the water pump where there is a
pipe type plug located? it a 75, 350, auto.
Thanks, George

That plug is in a cavity that's on the suction side of the pump, and it sees coolant that's already been through the radiator, not coolant that's hot and hasn't been to the radiator, which is what a sensor wants to see.

OK, I didn't put it there, i put in the intake, where a
temp. activated vaccum switch was, & eliminated the EGR valve, the
only thing fed off that switch.:beer
