Soooo, I'm driving to work this morning, buzzing along the highway, when I see something red in the slow lane. Always alert for fiberglass sightings, I fired up my trusty digital camera... et voila!!

So is this a CAC member? I have no idea. The car had BC "Collector" plates and it sounded like a small block. Steel non-Vette wheels.

Almost as good as driving my own Vette to work.... NOT!!

Just curious Mac, were you in your private car or a police vehicle - marked or unmarked, makes no difference to them when you're shooting their picture. Imagine what he could have been thinking of you if he saw you. :L

Nice Vette! :cool

I would guess private, the dash looks bare, no radio, lights, computer or Tim Horton cups :D

Unmarked and I doubt the driver was aware he was having a Kodak moment. :D

ps: the small format pic doesn't do the car justice.

Mac,

If you were marked and holding the camera and he noticed it, you probably would have caused an accident:D

Good catch, Mac.

Last summer, I noticed another driver on the 401 reading a pocket novel, resting on his steering wheel, while he cruised the middle lane. :mad

I grabbed my trusty digital and gently slid up his passenger side. I held the camera facing him (away from my face for obvious safety reasons) and waited for him to notice the vehicle shadowing him.

Sure enough, he sensed me there and as he turned to look, I clicked FLASH!!!!! ;LOL

You should have seen the expression on his face. The book got thrown in the back seat and he took the next exit.

Did I get the photo? Nope. I didn't want to endanger anyone by trying to aim. I only got his fender, but he sure as Hell got the message.
