Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

The renegade is getting closer!!!!!!!

Well, that's good news. Perhaps my car will get out of the shop this year. Wondering why that hasn't been more publicized. DCS "Skunkwerkz" like in LM's super secret high tech facility.

I see DCS has posted a progress report on their website - looks like good news. So I stand corrected - just anxious to have my guy get one and finish my car.

More good news from DCS yesterday. Congrats guys! And thanks for taking this on. Looking forward to driving my Renegade CFI.

DCS tells me I'm #7 on their list so I should get mine pretty soon. I would think in the next two weeks.

That's great - not really sure where I am. I'm not ordering it directly. Hopefully I'll be cruising around with one sometime soon, also. I know my guy is buying more than just the manifold from DCS.

What is your big plans for the renegade? What other stuff are you ordering from DCS?

I have bought the following DCS parts:
2" tb's
that tool that adjusts the fuel pressure
the fuel pressure gauge
and the renegade(still waiting)

Looks like he's working the throttle bodies himself - may change.

All on a rebuilt 355 with cam & roller rocker arms - he's shooting for 350+ hp.

Also - new no CV exhaust, radiator, headers, some other minor tweaks.

Get this - I brought the car to his shop and told him I wanted a safe ride and something better than the worn down 200 hp stock plant. I think all he heard was "more hp"... good guy though, I like what he's doing but I'm anxious to get back on the road. The delays have been trying.

This is his Web Site - go to his shop projects and check-out Project Crossfire.
These are the before pics, which I soon hope will be expanded with "after pics".

Yep, he typically works the smaller engines but I think he saw mine as an opportunity for some real torque & muscle and the rep of being a CFI mechanic. He's been talking to the guys at DCS and it pretty much sounds like he's going with their advice.

This link has all the pictures he took plus the new crate.

Where's my Renegade?

It is now April 17th and I still don't have my Renegade. Does anyone know what's going on? Are the production Renegades being shipped to anyone yet?

How did the chip work for you? Did you notice a difference?

The engine isn't in the car yet. Will let you know when he gets that far. I don't think he has any of the DCS parts yet either. Renegade receipt estimate is like mid-May.

Have you seen the install by a guy on the crossfire injection forum, he has his renegade and it is installed.
