I did some scrubbing under the car where the power steering parts are and a bit later hubby put the headers on and I looked underneath and it was like looking up at a new car :-) I only wish I had "before" photos.

It was hard to take pictures so hopefully these make sense.

So the rest of the exhaust has to get connected, the interior still has work to be done (seats installed, seat backs painted etc), fan installed, fluids put in, power steering hose kit, rear end and all the fluids. So still some work to go but the light is at the end of the tunnel.

Very nice Lori - lookin' good... we're so proud of you --- our girl's growin' up and will be burnin' rubber soon!!! :Steer

Thanks again :-)

This weekend was the cleaning from the tranny back , ugh what a mess from the rear end. Gunk, grime and more grime. Totally gross under there. Thank goodness for Easy off oven cleaner, this time we used the lemon scent which was a big help esp to the husband who was under the car with it.

The list of things to do is down to under 20 items. The cruise control chain broke. It looks like the chain on an attic light to me. I need to order a dash cover I have more cracks than I thought. The interior is going to be a two tone now so I am on the fence about which color to order the light silver (grey) or the black.

Its so close........I can't wait. We went to the 1/4 mile track yesterday and it was fun (and hot) but hearing the engines was awesome and hopefully my son won't have to wear headphones in moms car :-)
