I've seen it before. By the way, he has a twin turbo approaching 635 hp I think. Don't try this at home.

Lingenfelter Corvette? Why even bother trying?:L

Great video.

They were pretty good sports about it.
There was a badge on the drivers side of the vette that the camera zoomed in on, but I couldn't read it. Anybody know what it was?

Yup, it's a "Z51R" logo, not sure if this belongs to DRM, or Lingenfelter.

I kind of thought it was a DRM.

Who knows ;shrug

Thats a great video

It takes a little while but well worth the wait. What do you think?

Neat video. There are referrences all over the automotive side of the net on this particular car and video. The opening of the video incorrectly labels the Corvette as a Lingenfelter. It is apparently a Doug Rippie Motorsports Z51R. A heads and cam package with other mods. Further net sources claim that the car is now supercharged and even faster. Cool video though. :)

Is it the same car, the one in the video does not have a supercharger sticking out like the one in the website.

But it is a DRM, I thought so.

This is probably the most famous street racing video ever on the internet.

Glad it stars a badd 'vette smokin' some rice.:beer

He said the reason he fell so far behind in the last race was because he didn't hook up until he hit third gear. If you look close you can see the front end rise a bit just as he hooks up and blows by...

WAY KEWL!!!!
MAJOR VAROOMBA!!!!:)
pretty large file but well worth the brief wait
