thread size for TV cable 200 4 r

What is the thread pitch for the bolt that holds the TV cable in place on the tranny. I know it takes a 10mm wrench but there are a couple of metric sizes that take 10mm wrench. I have a M6-1.00 x 20 and it won't tighten up. It threads in and isn't cross threaded but it isn't the correct size.
