Throttle and kickdown cable adjustments.

Hi,can anybody tell me how to adjust these cables on my 90 coupe?Ive got a lot of play in the throttle cable,you can move the gas pedal quite abit before the throttle opens,also the kickdown doesnt happen very quickly,could that be due to the throttle cable as well?

Its very hard over here in the UK to find someone who will work on these cars!
