Question: Throttle Body Flow Booster (Air Foil)

If it so easy to get people to spend 25 bucks on two bucks worth of aluminum, I'm going into business making "air foils" for L98/LT1 throttle bodies.

I'll make them in anodized colors and package them with 8 of those E3 spark plugs.

Buy my kit and you'll get 50 more horsepower.

Funny you should ask.

My first run of this kit has the air foils anodized blue and the spark plug insulators painted blue.

Of course, the blue spark plugs cost extra...a lot extra.

And the K/N thing.. kee-rist, again? real tests, in other threads showed a clean STOCK PAPER filter flows as much air.

but given the stock TB is not the restricting item on a TPI making power it has no effect

Roughly 5% increase in flow AT THOSE FLOW RATES and conditions. This test may or may not translate to the real world, as our knowledgeable down under friend stated, regarding the total system picture.

I'd like to know who funded the 'study' and how accurately the conditions model the real world before placing any faith in the result. I learned decades ago, that statistics do not lie, but liars with enough money can generate whatever statistic or study needed to 'prove' a point. Hey, if you think your car is faster, that's all that counts, placebo or no.
