this "switch" is on page 100 of the new winter catalouge from Ecklers. anybody know if this thing is worth the 100 bucks?
it says it adjusts fuel and timing only when you accelerate at least 60% and it gives u "seat of the pants improvment".
i was just wondering if i should buy it or not..it kinda sounds a bit fishy too me :eyerole

Hi,

I don't think it's worth it. There are so many chips/switches out there for the Vette that will cost a little bit more, but give you a lot more.

Waiting for you Jeff...

Just ask Edmond.. We just put My custom Chip in his car..

He can tell you how he likes it..

If you are interested Shoot me an Email at vettxtc@attbi.com for details

that chip fools the computer into thinking it is full throttle before it actually is.... I have a friend that bought one, and he got his best time at the track with it installed.... is it worth it? I don't think so... you are definitely better off putting your 100 bucks towards a real chip

add on's

I agree, you buy one of these wiring harness deals that sends a modified signal to the computer.. if you only want the one mod fine.. but if you try to mix it with other mods like a chip then your just setting your self up for failure.. the only thing i can think of I would ever use like that would be an 02 simulator for a catless car that is strictly for racing purposes.. that's it.. and i may not even use that if i can reprogram the ECM/PCM not to throw a code.. anyway I don't know if what I said makes alot of sense.. but all in all those kind of mods I think are junk. programming is better, hardware such as a cam, heads, gearing things of that nature are better spent money then those stupid plug and play sensor mods. there junk. but I guess there convienet if your clueless and or are a afraid of pulling your prom chip out.. other then that I just think there stupid.. blah blah blah.... :nono :hb :r
