Hi

While reading "Magazine Corvette" l came across an ad in the back of the magazine by LM Cool Shades.

They are selling a static film that goes on the inside of the rear window for $40. It comes in two pieces and you only have to trim around the struts and rear window catch. They claim it takes over an hour and two people are advised to do it.

I previously bought from a catalog a static film for my clear top and it works.

Has anybody dealt with this company and what do you think?

I am not promoting this company just had my fill with empty promises.

I would just go to the local tint shop and have them do your rear window it will look much better.

Local tint shop

That's not a problem but l liked the idea that l can take it off and put it back on again.

This is for my dog.

Alan

p.s. I hope to be moving into a C5 soon after l sell my C4.

I would take it to a good tint shop too. Probably better results ( I'm not doubting your ability) as they do this type of work everyday. I've never had good results with DIY tint .

I am sure your right about better results but if l did it myself l could take it off and put it back on again.

Wait, l just thought of something, if l did it myself l would have to be in a weird position for at least an hour on my back.

Pass, l will have it done, it will be easier on my back.

Alan
