Tire pressure setting

Have 1977 with Firestone Firehawk SS tires. Door sticker for origional settings recommendation is 20/26 lbs. Does anyone know what I should set the new tires at front/rear. They are all currently at 35 lbs. recommended by stamp on tire. I was wondering if they should be unbalanced pressures as the origional door spec. recommends? Thanks!

I think that you'll find most people running 32 for stock size tires all around. Usually 35 is reserved for a lower profile tire because they have a shorter side wall and need the higher psi to keep there shape and give a propper "footprint".
