On every car I've ever owned, Corvette or not, I've always used the factory-recommended tire pressure from the sticker printed on the inside of the driver's door. After all, why use something other than what the factory recommends?

I'm with Partick on this one - 30 psi or whatever the sticker says.
This assumes that you have matched the tires with the wheels - if you're going to run a tire/wheel combination outside the tire manufacter's recommendations, then you're on your own.
I heard that because the side walls are smaller a
few extra pounds of presure will help prevent damage
to the rims. With the condition of the roads around here,
pot holes, any help would be appreciated.
