I can't cite any numbers but, generally, I think there are more people who run Z06es to the limit than one would think...certainly more than ran other, up-option Corvettes of the past (such as C4 Z07s or ZR-1s) to their limits.
I'll add that there are some situations where, if a Z06er is getting ready to buy new tires, I'd suggest another tire. If you've got a 01-04 which you don't drive hard but you do frequently drive it on wet roads during the Fall, Winter or Spring, I'd not choose the F1 Supercar. I'd go with the F1 GS-D3 or another all-round ultraperformance tire such as the Michelin Pilot Sport 2. My reasoning is that the two latter tires have better wet performance and tread life than the Supercar and, confronted with driving in bad weather, they are better choices.
