Is thre any trick to getting a tire pressure sensor to work, other than recalibrating?? Three work one doesn't. ;shrug

Are there different sensors for different years, or are all c5's interchangeable??

The owners' manual walks you through steps to re-train your tire pressure monitors. It looks fairly easy.

The sensors are different. I believe the changeover is 1997-2000, 2001-now. You have to reset all four. There is no way to retrain only one.

When I retrained mine I used a car speaker magnet. A refrigerator is likely not strong enough to activate the sending unit in the sensor.

What is the difference in the 2001+ air sensors? Is there a way to make them work on a 1999? I am thinking about buying a set of 2003 rims/tires from a guy with air sensors in them and was wondering if there is a way to make them work on my 99. Is it correct that 97-2000 are compatible?

I do not know the differences. However, I am sure C4C5 Specialist knows.
