To Stroke or Not To Stroke

OK guys I have a dilemma. I have a 350 4bolt, new Dart 2.02 heads new Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake, new Edelbrock 510 cam new Hooker super comp ceramic coated headers. The engine is out of the baby right now and is going to get freshened up...

Should I:

Keep it .40 over like it is and just put fesh stuff in the bottom end

-OR-

Make it a stroker.........
 
If you're replacing the crank anyway, I'd go with one of the bolt-in stroker cranks that several companies are making (longer stroke, but still with the 350 bearing diameter, so no machining is needed).

The 383 is an awsome motor, I have been driving one in my 76 for 3+years now and even though it is "hotter" then the l-48 it is more docile then the origional carb job was.

stroker, it's a beast, .40 over alum.heads 215 runners, I am so impressed with this moter noe that it finally got in!! alum. radiator, 3100 16, spal fan,
 
Wow thats pretty is that a custom over flow container on your rad.?
 
custom I guess, The brace is 1" X 24.5 and is a 1/4" thick. stock aluminum, bought at home depot for 7 bucks. drilled and attached to stock radiator bractets. light finished sanding. I thought with the aftermarket radiator, it sured up the support integerity of everything. Then drilled and mounted a 3" X 15 polished aluminum over-flow tank (about 20 bucks if I remember) mostly I wanted some additional room where the stock plastic over-flow tank is on the passenger side. It helped store (asthethically) some relays, and fuses etc. It's kinda funny, everyone compliments it, and I have spent so much more time and money on things no one seems to notice:confused
 
clar: As you can see in the pic, I had not yet stashed away the extra wires etc, but that was my initial intention, the vette's are a little conjested under the hood. Jon

thats always the way it is, more so when people that don't have a clue how much work is involved are doing the looking. It will be the small things that catch their eye. You have a nice looking install.

Thanks Craig, Man, it's been a long year. Bought it last year in sept, from a guy that could not pay for his A/C residential install cost for personal reasons. He was not going to do anything with it, so I don't feel I was being opportunisnic, in fact at the time, I was not pleased with the opportunity at all. I thought a half a loaf is better than nothing, then I really fell in love with the car. It's been alot of work, it was in (body and frame) great shape, but left sitting for almost 10 years. I paid 2750.00 (he paid 250.00 of 3k outstanding. It's been kinda a blessing in disquise.

Done some things right, and definetly, it's been a learning curve, cause I sure made some mistakes:o :o Anyhow feels good to hear positive comments, I think it's down-hill from here at least.
