I'm wimping out. Taking it to a place on the Island. They'll charge the system with dye. ---- IT! You would THINK that with the rate of gas escaping, I would hear a damn whistle when I charged it. I think I have defective Schraeder valves, just letting the charge leak back out. But why in the heck did it just happen?

Yeah......Just throw Money at it....that'll fix her....

But why in the heck did it just happen?

Can you say.....

Hey Mark whats the lasted are you on schedule for making Carlilse with the car?

Do-en real good... Everythink is back on and I'm now working on some electrical issues.. As of today I've got 75 Miles on the car. One minor leak from the steering box at the column shaft input. But I think it has stopped.

Today I pushed the dash back into posistion and bolted it in and also cleaned up underneath.

Kid_Again Showed up today in his Mini Van.....:L to lend a hand. It was a big help having the Kid their..as I also installed the tire tub and hardwhare. We managed to install it in no time flat.. Of course I did have a problem with one of the long tray bolt's..I'm sure the KId will bust on me for that.

So.....Carlisle ....Here I come.....:beer

You're taking a spare tire? :D

Yep..Unlike you manly men from the far north cold country..who travel with Support vehicles...and every tool known to man....We men from Joisey..travel with spare tires and Fix-A Flat... And a Cell Phone To Call AAA..

:D

Mark,

Glad to hear that you are making progress. since Kid brought the family slammer, did he bring the portable AC also?

See you in a couple of days,

AW GREAT. NOW THEY THINK I DRIVE A MINIVAN.:eek

just freakin' great...in reality, my "other" ride is a "truckette", a CR-V - which should be relabeled a PO-S...it's an '02 out of warranty with a huge hole in the AC system - well, everybody needs to make a living...my other ride is an Infiniti G35 6MT Coupe, i NOW feel compelled to mention...geez, thanks VNV;LOL

anyway, it did only take a few minutes to get the tub back in...Mark didn't have a good angle on the through bolt that goes into the frame - i find that cross-threading those bolts really makes those puppies stick real nice and tight.....JUST KIDDING, calm down

...i have to tell you that I've shown the pictures of your engine compartment to the guys at work and they are really impressed with your workmanship, really, really nice detail......now, about those cross-threaded spark plugs that i installed for you :bang ....mark, put the gun down and back away slowly....JUST KIDDING, geez

...and, NO, i don't drive with a basball cap pulled down over my ears with the left turn signal on for 200 miles...but i THOUGHT i did see a baseball cap in VNV's garage that had the following logo -> "Egg Harbor Township Rest Home Checkers Champion 2004"......not sure ;shrug

btw...REALLY good advice about ordering the pulleys directly from March...I now need the 3 groove system...when i asked for a 3 groove water pump pulley he said they don't offer one - said i must be a corvette guy..what can i say...i'll make do

..but i THOUGHT i did see a baseball cap in VNV's garage that had the following logo -> "Egg Harbor Township Rest Home Checkers Champion 2004"......not sure ;shrug

Mark,
I thought you told your dates they couldn't leave clothes over :D :D :D

It's not the clothes I mind...It's all those chemicals that they use... You know.. stuff for the hair ....stuff for the face... stuff for those removable teeth....
and those gallon bottles of the brown cid-er-y stuff that begins with the letter
"D"...:D .. Man...I don't want to even think about that one......:ugh

It is kind of funny to see you drive up in that Box with wheels... And see you jump out with your special Neck cooling device tied so neatly around you neck with that nice little Bow....Not That There's Anything Wrong With That..

It's just that I'm use to seeing and hearing you arrive in that Manly 66 BB with the side pipes...So ....put yourself in my palce ....I don't hear anything.....I look up as someting cacth's my eye.........And there you are...in your little red Box.

But I do appreciate the help and the crossed Tire Tub Bolts as well as the JB Welded in Spark Plugs. It a good thing that plugs last 100.000 miles..

:L

...i find it VERY manly to drive a PO-S with no AC in 95/95 weather

...even though your '65 doesn't have AC, i found it quite balmy driving down Ocean Heights Ave at 70 MPH in second gear :lou

...my shopping list at Carlisle includes #match soccer ball emblems for the back of each midyear...john lolli ASSURES me that they will pass judging

...oh, and that neck cooling device?...damn thing actually works but i avoided choosing the "gay red bandana" color option...an added plus is that if i get lost, the cops will find my return address written by my wife on the inside with a sharpie - direct deposit right to the nursing home

I've been at the 70-80 MPH mark on Ocean Heights Ave with the Thunderchicken as the A/C no worky either. It is rater cool at that speed but can be costly In the way Of traffic fines....or deadly in my case as ...trying to stop the ThunderChicken with 1970's Technology Breaks is like trying to stop The Exxon Valdez.. at the drive thru window at Burger King............:D
