This week's show stops at the Chevy factory in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where production of the 2010 Corvette Z06 takes place. Be sure to tune in on Thursday, October 29th, at 8PM ET/PT.

it was pretty cool...they did the camero also..and Ferrari and Porsche
the details are what its all about on the zo6...sigh...i cant afford one

This would be my 5th time I will have watch this show...if it's the one a couple years old. My wife just doesn't get it, but when the show is on I like it, yes I do!!!!!:Twist:dance

I thought the program was interesting, and bought the DVD last year. Unless they've updated, its' focused on the 2007 Z06. Also bought the Ferarri 599 video. Amazing car. The announcer is a little overly exuberant, and there are some inaccuracies, but it's worth the time to watch. As far as the current state of the Corvette, 2010 Z06 and everything else, check Jim Van Dorn's Automasters Blog, Welcome to Automasters of Bowling Green. Looks bleak.

Very depressing indeed, Automasters and Jim sponsered many an Early Arrival Barbecue for the C5/C6 Bash and they WILL be missed.

Shoot! I thought it was a new show.I saw the 'old' one I forget how long ago.Guess I'll rewatch it:thumb

Thanks Rob

I'll definitely be tuning in.

Jim Van Dorn just needs to go ahead and do whatever he intends to do without all the negative unproductive comments.

Well, I watched the show again last night. I have watched it 5 times and thought it was about time to get the DVD. I went to National Geographic channel website and placed an order for the DVD. They were sold out but taking backorders...$19.95 :thumb

I wonder when it will arrive in the mail.:confused

I saw it last year.
thought then it was pretty cool as to how they made the vettes at alone the Z06!!!!

Yeah, I've got this show a number of times. It really kept me going during the two years it took from first test drive to purchase just yesterday. Next step is to get down to BG and tour the plant sometime next year. Hope to live the show, sort of. :cool

Yeah, I just ran a search and noted that Nat Geo is running this again later this week. You may want to check your service for channel and times.

The Nat. Geo. website says it will be on again on November 27 @6PM EST. I'm looking forward to it, I've been to the National Corvette Museum, but I haven't made the plant tour, which I want to do this year or early next year. I don't really have any feeling for a Ford, But they seem to have been able to make a decent car, so I'm not knocking them. It's just I've alway bought chevy's or other GM products. My very first car I bought in 1966, it was a brown 1951 Chevy business coupe. Not much to look at, but it always started up. Had an old 6 volt system. Radio never worked, so I bought a transistor radio and hung it from a knob on the dashboard ?

I just always have loved Chevy's, But I have to say, I'm disgraced by the many difffernt managers and CEO's. They have robbed the company into the ground, and the unions haven't helped. Very disappointing. Not really sure I'll ever buy a another new Chevrolet, But if they get down to doing the right thing I might ! I am looking forward to 'One more' Corvette in this lifetime.
