I just had the soft top on my 67 replaced. It came with an "official" label sewed into the seam beneath the rear window telling the dealer not to remove. Does this have some NCRS value? It looks like hell. If I remove it and save the label, is there a loss in value? Any inputs appreciated. JK

Yes, it's part of NCRS judging; (2) originality points, (2) condition points. If you don't intend to have your car judged, you don't need it. If you do decide to remove it (carefully), you could put it on eBay and someone whose tag has been lost and intends to have their car judged will surely snap it up. The original tags were printed on paper, and were quite fragile - usually disappeared after a couple of car washes.
