Torque Converter lock up?

I was going through an Ecklers magazine the other day and i found a 1981-89 Torque Converter lock-up Delay Wiring harness. My question is what will it do for my 86 vette. I have talked to one person that has done this and he told me nothing but good things. I read the description of the part and it does say increase in performance. How much performance are we talking, for the $44.00, and does it install in minutes. The part # is 31993. If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

No point in doing so for the 86.

Your converter locks at 2024rpm, all years after that locked at a lower rpm. Which is a good thing for us. With the same engine, we'd launch faster.
