I caught myself admiring a beautiful red car with every pimped out ground effect bolt-on cut-up dropped-down piece of fiberglass there is plus some the guy made himself. It was so over the top it actually looked GOOD! And oh my God it used to be a C4.

These cars never cease to amaze.

Any pics??

Unfortunately not. It looked candy apple red. At the facing lane at the light, and you know I just got a phone with a camera in it. I'll need to remember that .

Take my word on it most vette guys would be hurling. This one just looked mean to me.

a PIMPED out vette looks like a cheap 11th avenue penny-whore no matter who did it.
My opinion. I sometimes have trouble expressing myself.

I am open to change, but for now I like my plain old 87 the way it is.

I love mine too, but too each his own, I got a few mods, just what I like, just for ME.

Now here's one where the Pimp hand is Strong!, but I think it looks
;)

There is only one thing I do not like on that vette. The headlights, I love the hidden headlights. Other then that it is not to bad.

THAT'S MY POINT.
"Not that bad".... when do you describe a 'vette as "not that bad"?
when it looks like THAT!!
my opinion

'tis a sad sight...:cry

Was that vette a Collectors Edition at one point in its lifetime? The wheels appear to be but the emblem on the hood is hard to see.

Nope, if I recall correctly it's an 85 that the guy has completely redone with kit stuff, mostly from....C5West. I think he's in it around 30K before the motor. Wait till ya see the interior----PURISTS ;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

If this post isstill alive I'll post some when I see em ;)

I think I like this one. I know there's a lot of purists that hate any modifications to a vette... _especially_ cosmetic changes. But I just don't agree. I like seeing a range out there... from radically modified to historically accurate numbers matching stock. I'd miss it if any part of that range was gone.

Of course, there are cosmetically altered vettes out there that are just... done by people who have no sense of aesthetics, and they're just bad. But that's not all of them.

I do roll my eyes when purists turn their noses up at a modified vette which has been done well just for being different.
