I found this in another thread. "My personal choice was the set of custom-valved shocks from TPIS." Can anybody tell me who TPIS is and where I can find them?

Thanks

I'm running a set of their shocks now. They greatly improved the ride quality.[/quote

Thanks for the web site.

Any effect on handling? I have an '86 with the Z51.

Thanks again.

I've got a set as well on my non-Z51 (but with the Delco-Bilsteins originally) 86. That might have been my post you saw. Anyway, the handling is still great, although as our cars age the rubber bushings and such deteriorate and affect handling as much as bad shocks would. I'm slowly replacing mine with urethane from Energy Systems.

For $176 a set, that's not too bad of a price. TPIS does have the reputation for making a very good product. I've seen their headers and Flowmaster exhaust system and I must say that the product is good quality.
