Agreed - and I think we're gonna see a lot of this, the C7 giving everyone a hard time on the track and with build for a fraction of their cost. Is anyone going to compare an entry 911, at ~$82,000 to the Z51 C7, at ~$58,000? Really?
Edmunds just did the comparo with a 3LT Z51 C7 at ~$68G against the 911 C2S, with the dual clutch, carbon brakes and chassis control for, yeah, $144,000! More than twice the cost and it turned a Streets of Willow lap time 3 seconds behind the Vette. So all that refinement, feel, image, soft Corinthian leeether is worth another ~$76grand? Really?
I could go on :W but I hope the presence of this Vette everywhere brings it home for all.
