Trade?? Looking for a clean 79/80 Vette.

This is being posted after I have just "bought" the 79 Corvette in question from above. The guy called me back within an hour and told me he had again changed his mind and did indeed need to sell his car. So, I went to see it yesterday drove it and bought it.

Now I can see why he wanted to back out. Its a very clean low miles Yellow 79 Corvette which will make me a very nice ride and show piece. I'll keep you guys up to date and post a few pics as soon as I get them back from the photo lab............It feels good to be a vette owner again!!!!

Great news. An '79 I think you'll be happy. Sounds like what you wanted. Also since you had a '79 before you are familiar with the car and model year etc.

I have a black '79 with doeskin interior. It is a solid driver with 50K original miles. The only reason I would sell it is because I bought a '96 LT-4 coupe. Email me offline for a photo.

My black '79 is in the Bel Air area. Mine is 95% done. Just a few small details that need to be buttoned up. I have been a regular at the Big M on Saturdays.

Well i'm not surprised I guess. I haven't seen any cars which lived up to their billing.

I bought my 72 with 64,000 miles and the steering was bad too. Rubber rots faster when sitting. Low miles are much worse than high miles for a "driver."

I also had problems with seals and gaskets too. They all went bad in no time flat.

Good luck with the shopping, it isn't easy and always takes too long.
