I am thinking of swapping out my Muncie M20, which has seen better days, with a Tremec 5 speed. Anyone out there done this, and what were the results?

I did it back before there were kits (99/2000) and love it, at the time it was about $1000 under the richmond 6-speed the only other option. Now they have kits that even put the shifter in the right place; check the supporting dealers I think one of them offers a kits.
I had to modify my mount, shorten the Driveshaft and make a new shift plate. I will be putting the TKO into the 68 vert I just bought and will keep the same shifter setup, I looked into the offset shifter but do not want to give up my "ripper" to go that way.
