Tranny trouble

I just recently bought a 93 vette with the auto tranny and only 14k miles, I noticed a couple days later that sometimes I would feel a pulling as if it was almost stuck going between two gears. Has anyone else had this trouble? If so what did it require?

14k in miles and it has tranny problems? did you check the trans fluid? does it look burnt and or have metal in it?

I intended to reply to firedawg's post regarding his tranny. Instead arrived on a new post. Don't have the priviledge to delete it so here it is.

I'd drop the trans pan, clean it thoroughly and put in new fluid. Or, pay someone to do it. Don't much like the flush via the cooler hoses. That does change more fluid but doesn't get the sludge out of the pan. It might even pay to do both though.
I've had many cars and even a boat that shifted sooooo much smoother after a trans fluid change.
No the boat didn't shift gears but going from neutral to forward or reverse certainly became smoother.

Thanks everyone, I'll give that a try hopefully that'll work, I just couldn't believe that it only had 14k miles and was having any trouble. who knows, maybe it just sat too long. anyways, thanks again
