I have a 2001 Corvette, the radiator blew on me and the part of the radiator that holds the transmission lines was leaking into the cooling system. There appears to be no water in my transmission lines, however I lost some transmission fluid during this time of leaking. are transmission flushes really necessary or should I just change what is in the pan and put a new filter in it?
